Sharing sand dam technology with partner organisations across Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa
ASDF supports organizations across Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa to replicate sand dam technology for the benefit of communities in water-scarce regions. Through technical assistance, capacity building, and knowledge sharing, ASDF has helped partner organizations successfully implement sand dam projects in Laikipia and Isiolo counties in Kenya, as well as in Malawi, Tanzania, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Somaliland, Madagascar, and Mozambique. These partnerships have expanded the adoption of sustainable water management practices and strengthened community resilience across the region.
