Where We Work

Arid and semi-arid lands

Climate change is considered one of the strongest forces challenging food security for in the tropical regions, more particularly the arid and semiarid lands of the sub Saharan Africa. With the ever increasing rainfall unpredictability and the longer, more severe drought spells, enhancing food security for the poor and vulnerable peasant farmers is now demanding a lot more than just attention to food production. It is now becoming increasingly vital to foster innovations that promote climate change adaptability as a way of cushioning communities
